Product Introduction

Due to its low quality, good comfort and fatigue resistance, the rubber air spring has the advantages of long service life, vibration reduction and noise reduction. Widely used in industrial machinery, instrumentation and other equipment. Manufactured from fabric reinforced synthetic rubber in one, two or three convolutions according to stroke and model. They incorporate no reciprocating metal parts and so provide virtually frictionless thrust compared with conventional pneumatic cylinders.

How to Choose Air Shock Suspension?

1. Load Capacity
Select one or two AIRSUSTECH shock absorbers that can support the loads at each mounting point. Design pressures should preferably be in the range of 4 to 6 bar. Consider only 1M1A and single or double convolute models initially. Note that in most cases in the range of 1 to 250 kN, single or double convolute models will suffice.

2. Determine the damping effect.
Select the disturbance frequency that is closest to the actual force frequency: 7, 13 or 25 Hz. Then check the percentage of damping of the airbag and select one of these.

3. Determine the design height
The air spring should be used at a given design height. The design height of a double convolute airbag is higher than that of an equivalent single convolute airbag. Make sure the design height is within the height limit. In addition, the damping percentage of a double convolute airbag is higher than that of a single convolute airbag.

4. Determine the exact internal pressure and vibration reduction effect
Because the user's specific vibration isolation problem is not important within the load and interference frequency criteria specified in the selection guide, it is necessary to re-determine the required internal pressure and the percentage of vibration isolation to be achieved after the initial selection.
