Advantages of air spring used as an actuator
low cost
In general, the initial cost of a Guomat actuator for the same load
capacity is half or less than that of a conventional pneumatic or
hydraulic cylinder.
Wide range of sizes
Guomat actuators range in size from 85mm to 950mm in diameter. The
carrying capacity is up to 450 kN, and the stroke can be as large
as 355mm.
Eccentric bearing capacity
Guomat lifters are not affected by eccentric loads within certain
limits. This is superior to conventional air or hydraulic
cylinders. The eccentric load carrying capacity eliminates
connecting rod bending, scratching, seal wear and other failures
common to traditional air or hydraulic cylinders.
