About air springs

Compared with other springs, air spring light weight, small internal friction, has good vibration isolation and noise attenuation ability in high frequency vibration, and air spring can achieve better variable stiffness characteristics by adjusting the internal pressure, when the load on the spring increases, the gas in the closed container is compressed, the pressure rises, the spring stiffness increases; On the contrary, when the load is reduced, the pressure of the gas in the container decreases and the spring stiffness decreases. Therefore, when the air spring is applied to the suspension of the vehicle, the natural frequency of the body can remain basically unchanged even if the load is different.
The bag air spring is composed of rubber air bag with curtain line and compressed air closed in it, which can be divided into single section and multi-section. The steel waist ring is designed between the section and section, so that there is no radial expansion in the middle part. At the same time, in order to prevent the friction between the two adjacent sections, the upper and lower cover plate of the air bag will be closed.

When we use air springs, we need to pay attention to the following points
