Features:
Crimp plates are an integral part of air spring bellows. They are
used to firmly attach the bellows to the frame of a vehicle or
equipment in order to provide stability and limit the shortest
stroke of the spring. With this precaution, the performance of the
emergency operation is secured.
An air spring bellows is composed of three main components:
internal reinforcement, cord stabilizing brackets, and an external
cover of vulcanized natural rubber. On one end of the bellows, the
clamping plate connects it to the piston or an axle, allowing
movement — thus reducing vibration. On the other end, the center
ring plays a role in stabilizing the air spring, withstanding the
deformation or distortion attempt.
